And we're back....

So we went to Logan this weekend, for L's first real road trip. Obviously not far, but we wanted to see how she did, and I personally was just itching to get out of the valley for a little while. It was a lot of fun! We left home on Saturday morning and returned on Sunday afternoon. L did a great job, even if she didn't get a lot of sleep. ;] We discovered that waking up in one's carseat after a very short nap does not do well for one's mood. Both days. But the stunning views definitely made up for the lack of sleep on everyone's part. Here's an idea of the weekend:

Those pics, courtesy of Darling Man, were taken in/around Logan. He took these ones of Bear Lake:

And these were somewhere in between (mile marker 477, to be precise):

Here is L's interpretation of the situation (at mile marker #477):

(that second one is my favorite: "Vantage point a la 2-year-old")

And last, but not least (actually, these were really taken first, I'm just too lazy to adjust the formatting here), these were taken on the way up to Logan. At this fun playground, we got to see lots of ducks and geese (including a wayward goose who was pretty distraught at having escaped the enclosure and couldn't figure out how to get back in, so was pacing back and forth at the fence). L also took a couple bumps for the team while on the playground, but she turned out okay....
