In other K news, I have discovered that staying up until the late hours of the night (well, late for me, anyway. I won't even tell you what time that is, lest you laugh uncontrollably at me) is not beneficial for the next day. The last couple nights, M and I have played LEGO Batman up until the gazillionth time when I decide I need to go to bed and then re-decide that we really ought to play just one more level of the game. Now that my shift at work ends one hour earlier, I am really enjoying having some time to spend with the darling M; as opposed to the old days when I would just greet him after getting home from work and then kissing him goodnight. However, I'm going to have to seriously rethink this LEGO Batman thing for weeknights. Can I resist? Boy, after several cups of tea today (and numerous bathroom trips), I sure hope so.
I am only going to post one new picture for you. It's L's Charlie Chaplin impression. To her credit, she had no idea that she still had one cracker stuck to her face, but I thought it was hilarious.
And yes, I know that, between the cracker stuck to her lip and that awful haircut I gave her, it's not exactly the most flattering picture. And she was also unhappy at the time because I ran to get the camera and she couldn't keep up. And yet I am still posting this picture. Of course, it probably doesn't hurt to keep a few blackmail pictures around for those fun teenage years ahead. I'm just an evil, evil mommy...
Well, I've surprised myself (and probably a few of you) that I've managed to post once a month since April. But now that I've just said that and jinxed myself, I can cheerfully acknowledge that it might be a good three years before I get back to this blog again...
Have a great day!
